second year!!!

second year is extremely different to first year its more intense and more work to do and a complete change.

however, its still fun and enjoyable our most recent project has been to work in groups and create a final collection together for a diffusion line for miu miu, it has been a lot of work to do over a short period of time and has been quite hard to keep up but Ive done it and although its been hard i have enjoyed working in a group and seeing how other people work compared to the way i work it has also taught me to plan my work more and make lists on what i need to do and when by.

working in a group has been different as I'm used to working more on my own and making my own decisions instead of making decisions within a group and having to compromise on some things that maybe other people didn't agree on.

i got on quite well with my group and enjoyed working in a group, there wasn't any conflict over who was making what as we all wanted to do different things, e.g. i wanted to do evening wear and Katherine wanted to do work wear so there was no conflicts really.

i chose to make a dress for evening wear and made the bodice using a Japanese pattern book which I'm not going to lie was really hard and i did need quite a bit of help with it but i challenged myself with it and with a little help i final made it and the rest of the dress.

we then had to do a photo shoot for our look books and these are some of the pictures from it.

i quite enjoyed doing the photo shoot and i think my dress looks really good on daisy and has worked out quite well and I'm proud of it even if i do say so myself!!!!
