handing in of tailoring processes

tailoring processes i found a bit difficult at the beginning as i didn't really know what we had to do exactly however once i got into it i quite enjoyed it i especially enjoyed our trip to the west Yorkshire play house were we got to look around all the clothes and costumes used within the plays at the west Yorkshire play house.

i also enjoyed doing the samples and learning how to do different techniques especially putting in a shoulder pad this gave me more understanding of the construction of a jacket and what goes into making one, this sample was one of my favourite to do as i feel i really learnt alot from it.

throughout the whole project i did find it hard to fit it all in as we had 2 weeks of taught lesson and 2 weeks of independent study i enjoyed doing my work at my pace however my pace isn't always best and i would have preferred maybe an extra week of taught lesson.

throughout the project we were doing samples which we then had to do and create something innovative out of it this i did enjoy as it helped me learn more about the creation of a tailored jacket and different ways of changing the silhouette of the wearer.

after handing my work in i had a tutorial with sue which I'm not gonna lie i was nervous about but she was really nice and gave me constructive feedback on my work which i found really helpful and useful to my next project as well.

during this time of tailoring practices i had a test for dyslexia and yes if you haven't heard by now i have dyslexia although i am waiting for my 3 hour test to have it confirmed and yes i may have been hurrendously hungover when i took the test which i think could only have helped me!
