3rd week with 3rd years

this morning i worked with my original 3rd year Ellen and she asked me and Laura to go into town for her and get some ribbon and a zip from Samuel Taylor for her and her friend Leanne this only took about an hour to get there and back and then for the rest of the morning me and Laura sewed in labels into Ellen's garments the labels were really cute and this is a picture of the labels we used.

as Ellen said she didn't need me this afternoon she said Cordelia could have me for this afternoon if she wanted so for this afternoon i went and helped Cordelia and just cut out her fabric pieces from pattern pieces out for her, also she showed me alot more of her work and let me take photos of her work to show what she is doing to put in my blog to show what she is doing for her final collection so these are the pictures of her work which i think are really really good and she has a really good concept of her ideas,

2nd day with 3rd years

today was our second day working with the third years and because Cordelia's first year was here today i had to work with Ellen who was my original third year, she started by showing me some of her work and what she had done so far and she has gone for as i see it a little house on the prairie theme collection with pink hangers, floral trousers and skirts, pink lace etc i think it is really cute and girly. to start with Ellen asked me to take photographs of all of her garments she has made so far then Laura who is also working with Ellen came a little bit later and Ellen asked her to paint some pegs pink, but Ellen's friend Leanne didn't have a first year today so in Ellen's words she "gave me" to Leanne which was okay but now means Ive had three different third years and haven't really bonded with anyone and don't really know what people are doing but there we go.
as i was now with Leanne first she had me put ribbon round a load of swing tags she had made for her garments, and then for the rest of the day i was tracing out her patterns for her which was okay and i learnt some things about patterns and making different patterns. so really it was an okay day.
